This worthy event helps raise money for cancer research, patient needs, etc. It involves having at least one team member walking the course during every hour of the event (from noon on Saturday, to 7:00 AM on Sunday). Douglas County Democrats have the beginnings of a team, and are already raising funds towards our goal of $1500.00. Please, seriously consider joining our team and/or at least contributing to our team's fundraising goal. Let's show Douglas County that the DC Dems are ready to help defeat cancer!
