What an excellent way to fundraise!!!! You give us your unwanted, unused
items, we raise money for the Dems! We truly need your support on our effort
to fundraise without asking you for money!!!
We need big items children's bikes, scooter,etc. Anything electrical, movies
DVDs, etc!!! We have tons of clothes.... Garage Sale will be at Judy and
Naomi 9118 Anasazi Indian Trail, HR, 80129 We need donations and help running
the garage sale for a couple of hours.

We need volunteers and lots of help for this tons of fun event!!!
Let 's show our great Dem's spirit on the 4th of July!!!
We need:
~Lots of people to join us and march in the parade
~Kids on decorated bikes, kids, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents,
friends!!!
~Decorated Cars, Trucks, Scooters, Convertibles!
~Sound system to ride on a decorated truck, so we can play fun music
as we parade with pride down the streets of HR
~Volunteers to man our booth: Slots available: 9:00 to 11:00, 11:00 to
1:00, 1:00-3:00, 3:00 to 5:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 PM
Wear a Dem political t-shirt, or at least a Blue T-Shirt
Your support!!! Your Spirit and Your Enthusiasm!!!
Our starting "spot" is in the Shea Center parking lot north
of HR Parkway accross from Red Rocks Credit Union. If you prefer park
and
meet in the Home Depot parking lot before 8:20. We need to be in

Event: Relay for Life
We have an opportunity coming up on June 23-24 to participate in the American
Cancer Society's Relay for Life, at the D.C. Fairgrounds in Castle Rock.
This worthy event helps raise money for cancer research, patient needs,
etc. It involves having at least one team member walking the course during
every hour of the event (from noon on Saturday, to 7:00 AM on Sunday).
Douglas County Democrats have the beginnings of a team, and are already
raising funds towards our goal of $1500.00. Please, seriously consider
joining our team and/or at least contributing to our team's fundraising
goal. Let's show Douglas County that the DC Dems are ready to help defeat

Potluck House Warming Party for Jerri Hill and Charles Bucknam!

Jerri was our candidate for District Attorney in 2004, and both Jerri and
Charles have been active in the Douglas County Democrats for longer than
any of us can remember. As you probably heard, their house burned to the
ground in April. They are in the process of rebuilding and currently living
in another house nearby in Grand View. Please bring housewarming gifts
or gift cards for Jerri and Charles, and also food/supplies for the potluck
dinner. We will need: paper plates, napkins, plastic cups, utensils, buffalo
meat, condiments, drinks, salads, desserts, tables, benches, lawn chairs,

at 9 AM on the 4th of July, beginning from the Shea Homes parking
lot north of the intersection of Highlands Ranch Parkway and Blake
Drive. Please come and
march with the Douglas County Democrats!! We will have signs, banners,
hats, and fun things to hand out! Come march with the DC Dems, and
your county and state candidates!! Exercise Your Freedoms!!!
