The Highlands Ranch/Lone Tree/Roxborough Democrats provide a forum for residents of Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Roxborough Village and Roxborough Park to get together to socialize with like minded people, participate in projects, and become involved in legislation and candidates that further the needs of their communities.
Open Forum On the Contemporary Middle East

The June meeting of the Highlands Ranch/Lone Tree/Roxborough Democrats will be Wednesday, June 6th, 2012, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, at the Highlands Ranch Library, 9292 Ridgeline Blvd, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.  Our special guest speaker will Dr. Nader Hashemi, PhD, Asst Professor of Middle East and Islamic Politics, Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver.  Dr. Hashemi is author of the 2009 book "Islam, Secularism, and Liberal Democracy:  Toward a Democratic Theory for Muslim Societies".  Dr. Hashemi will lead "An Open Forum on the Contemporary Middle East:  Anything You'd Like to Know But Were Afraid to Ask!"  Join us for what we are expecting to be a very enlightening evening!  Meet new Dems!  Catch up with old friends!  See you there!
